Since my teenage years, I suffered immensely with self-confidence issues. I know that a lot of this was related to being unhappy with my own physique. I tried different things with varying levels of success. Probably a lot of the same things you’ve tried. A lot of it worked, but only for a few months. Then, like most people do, I’d lose momentum and eventually slide back into my old bad habits. It was a very disheartening way to go through life.
In the back of my mind, I knew that I needed help. I knew that I needed someone to tell me what to do, and to guide me through my fitness journey so that I could make real, lasting change. I made the decision to bring a personal trainer into my life and that has made all the difference. Not only did I lose several pounds of fat, gain several pounds of muscle, and improve my cardiovascular health, but I also developed the habits to make the changes permanent.
This experience changed my life so profoundly that I decided I wanted to help others in the same way I had help. I changed jobs, studied for months, shadowed trainers, did mock trainings in person with other trainers, and obtained my Certifed Personal Trainers license from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine).
Now, I’ve developed my own tools and my own methodology for helping others with their fitness goals. I stand ready to help those who want it.
